Since we just wanted to have a short impression of what kind of hardware Age of Conan requires, we created a character and chose a short path on the beach where the game begins. We took the same 2 minute run with all the three graphics cards. We ran the game with an 1.280x1.024 resolution and default high details.
While on route, we had FRAPS recording the frames every single second. The results can be found on in the graphs on this page. Actually all of our three candidates were able to display Age of Conan in a playable way. As expected the Geforce 9800 GTX had been the fastest card in our small contest. So we used it to see which effects it would have to increase the graphic quality by hand. But the Nvidia card passed this test, too, and displayed the MMORPG in a playable way.
