Der taiwanische Mainboard-Hersteller MSI hat zwei neue Mainboards aus der Gaming-Serie vorgestellt, das A88X-G45 Gaming (ATX) sowie A88XM Gaming (Micro-ATX). Mit an Bord sind der Killer-E2205-Chip von Qualcomm Atheros sowie ein als besser beworbener Sound. Die ATX-Platine soll ab Februar für 115 Euro verfügbar sein. Einen Veröffentlichungstermin oder Preis für das Micro-ATX-Board nannte man derweil noch nicht.
