WoW Patch 6.1 im Test: MSAA, Downsampling plus wählbarem Resamplingfilter - "I am a PC game" Mit Warlords of Draenor warf Entwickler Blizzard im November 2014 alle hochwertigen Kantenglättungsmodi über Bord, World of Warcraft 6.0.1 konnte nur notdürftig von den Postfiltern FXAA und CMAA geglättet werden. Nachdem unzählige WoW-Fans auf die Barrikaden gingen, gelobte man Besserung. Letztere ist nun mit dem WoW-Patch 6.1 live und hat es in sich: Blizzard hält nicht nur Wort, sondern überrascht mit einer ungeahnten Vielfalt an Anti-Aliasing-Verfahren und weiterer Pixelkosmetik.
