Skype für das iPad kurz nach dem Start aus dem Apple App Store entfernt

Skype als App für das iPad: Zumindest für wenige Stunden konnten Besitzer des Tablet-PCs in diesen Genuss kommen, dann hat Skype selbst das App wieder aus dem Apple App Store entfernt. In einer Twitter-Meldung hat der Entwickler lediglich kommentiert, dass man die Software zu früh veröffentlicht hat.

Bei Skype für das iPad werden beide Kameras werden genutzt, sodass Text, aber auch Videos über 3G oder WLAN übertragen werden können. Für das iPad 2 hat man das Skype-Interface überarbeitet, Kontakte werden als Bildergalerie angezeigt. Dateien lassen sich einem Bericht zufolge nicht verschicken, in den Release Notes wird der Dateitransfer ebenfalls nicht erwähnt.
