Nachdem Crytek bereits den Patch 1.9 sowie das optionale "DX11 Ultra Upgrade" und Hi-Res-Texturen zum Download veröffentlicht hat, folgten gestern Abend das Mod SDK 1.0 für Crysis 2 inklusive dem Sandbox-Editor 3 plus Dedicated Server für die Community. Das Mod SDK bringt es auf immerhin 1,35 GiByte und setzt wie die Hi-Res-Texturen ein 64-Bit-Betriebssystem und den Patch 1.9 voraus. Mit dem Paket dürfen Sie nicht nur Crysis 2 verändern, sondern auch neue Maps und Co. basteln. Details, wie Sie das Mod SDK 1.0 am besten nutzen, finden Sie auf Crymod. Die Dedicated Server (Download-Größe: 25 MiByte) laufen auch auf einem x86-System.


Crysis 2 Mod SDK Package

We're pleased to announce that today we are releasing the Crysis 2 Mod SDK package which includes the all-new Sandbox 3 Editor, allowing you to create custom maps, mods and content for Crysis 2! The package also includes various tools, such as FMOD Designer, Poly Bump, plugins for Maya and 3ds Max and more! We've also included some sample assets to help you discover the possibilities with the Crysis 2 Mod SDK package. Running alongside the release of the Crysis 2 Mod SDK package, we're also pleased to release the all-new Crymod website, a place for modders of all skill levels to join in, share and be part of our community.

Note: You need a 64-bit operating system for this package.

Crysis 2 Community Dedicated Server

Here you can grab the files for the Community Dedicated Server package. This package allows you to host your own unranked Crysis 2 server as well as custom maps/mods! This package also includes documentation on the setup and running of the server.To install, just extract the .zip file contents to your root Crysis 2 directory. For further information, please consult the .pdf file in the Support directory.
