Need for Speed - World: Europäische Beta angekündigt, neuer Titel [Quelle: siehe Bildergalerie]
In diesem Jahr erscheint das kostenlose Internet-Rennspiel Need for Speed: World Online, welches ab sofort nur noch den gekürzten Titel "Need for Speed: World" trägt. Da der Veröffentlichungszeitraum immer näher rückt, kündigt Electronic Arts nun eine Beta-Phase für die hiesige Version an, für die sich alle interessierten Spieler
ab sofort registrieren können.
Laut Eigenangabe der Entwicklerstudios EA Black Box und EA Singapur wird das Spiel die größte Auswahl an Fahrzeugen und Zubehörteilen bieten, die es in diesem Genre je gegeben hat. Die Spielwelt selbst soll eine Mischung aus den älteren Serien-Teilen Carbon und Most Wanted sein, weshalb man auch einige Stadtteile aus diesen Need-For-Speed-Titeln wiederfinden wird.
Zum Zwecke der Kosteneinsparung hat man Need for Speed: World jedoch
keine High-End-Grafik spendiert. Immerhin kann das Rennspiel somit jedoch grundsätzlich, wie erwähnt, kostenlos angeboten werden. Einzig für Zusatzinhalte sollen die Spieler zur Kasse gebeten werden.
Need for Speed: World soll weltweit im Herbst 2010 erscheinen.

Ich freue mich schon drauf. Trackmania war einfach nicht mein fall. Hoffe dieser NFS-Teil liegt mir mehr.
Verstehe nicht warum einige sich dagegen verwehren ein Rechnerprofil erstellen zu lassen und damit die Beta beeinflussen können. Naja, transparenz ist ja immer noch die eigene Entscheidung.
