Zalman case with integrated water cooling system
Zalman will release the Z-Machine LQ1000 in the near future. The term "inconspicuous” is not a real option, as it seems.
The case is made of black anodized aluminum, whereas the material is up to 5 millimeters thick. The left side panel also holds the radiator and the reservoir of the water cooling system, which is able to circulate 300 liters per hour.
The finned surface of the side panel works as a passive cooler for the radiator. For additional cooling power a 220 millimeter fan can be activated, which runs between 500 and 800 rpm. Another 120 millimeters fan exhausts the hot air from the case.
The Z-Machine LQ1000 has four 5.25 inch drive bays and five bays for hard drives, which are attached with screws and rubber fittings. At the front there are two USB ports, one Firewire connector and ports for headphones and microphone. The three red displays at the front, show fan speeds, the flow rate and the temperature of the water and the case.
The Zalman Z-Machine LQ1000 comes with the dimensions of 480 x 220 x 450 millimeters and a weight of 15 kilograms including the cooling system.
