WoW cataclysm: Goblin-Levels at DX11 maximum graphics
Since December 7, WoW cataclysm has been available in stores and for download. PC Games Hardware presents you impressions from the Goblin starting area at maxed out graphic options.
World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is the third expansion pack for the most popular online rolling play game. Blizzard counts about twelve million active players. With the add-on there are going to be new areas and the two new playable races of the Goblins and the Worgen. From the Goblin starting area we want to show you the first screenshots.
What you see is the Goblin-City Kezan and the following Lost Islands. Beginning at Level 1, we train our hero up to level 10, encountering numerous enemies and details pretty to look at. The screenshots have been made at maximum in-game detail with the help of DirectX-11-rendering. The original resolution had been 2.560 x 1.600 and 4x SGSSAA had been enabled as well as 16:1 AF. The Texture LOD had been set to -1. Further screenshots from later areas are soon to come.
If you like to see the Worgen starting Area, feel free to browse our other gallery – of course of the same quality as the one following below.
