The Release Candidate of Windows 7 is said to become available in late May. Initially April 10th was supposed to be the scheduled release date.
[IMGGALLERY=13 type=s imgid=972511 ]The rumors about the Windows 7 Release Candidate don't come to an end. After April 10th had been named as a possible release date, the latest rumors now indicate that the Release Candidate will become available in late May.
But the delay of the Release Candidate is supposed to have no effect on the final version of Windows 7, which - according to rumors again - will be released in late 2009. The reason is that testers get some more time.
The list of changes in the Windows 7 Release Candidate compared to the Beta version is long and can be found in the MSDN-Blog. Among other things enhancements in the taskbar thumbnails, the Jump List and the Multi-touch zoom are mentioned.
