Windows 7: Designs of the retail box pictured
The first designs for the retail boxes of Windows 7 which are supposed to be the base for the final version have been leaked.
In a Polish Windows 7 forum the first pictures of the Windows 7 retail box designs show how the final package of the operating system might look like. Compared to the Windows Vista box the new design is much slimmer and much clearer. Besides the Windows 7 logo, the name and the version tag the retail box doesn't really carry more information. The Windows 7 logo is surrounded by small icons that can already be seen in the login windows of the Windows 7 Release Candidate.
Among the designs there also is a box for the upgrade version to Windows 7. Here the creators made a little more effort. A tag on the cover clearly marks the update version. It is also obvious how the upgrade can be used. The pictures of the designs can be found in our gallery or on centrumxp.pl.
