Microsoft will release four patches in February.
Next Tuesday is Patchday for Microsoft. Four Security Bulletins will be released, two of them are rated critical.
The first critical security breach is related to the Internet Explorer 7. A leak for remote code execution is closed. A similar leak affected the Exchange versions 2000, 2003 and 2007.
Two patches have received a high importance rating: They are available for the SQL server (Windows 2000, 2003, 2003 x64, 2008, 2008 x64, SQL Server 2000, 2000 IA64, 2005, 2005 x64, 2005 IA64, Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (MSDE 2000), SQL Server 2005 Express Edition, SQL Server 2005 Express Edition with Advanced Services) and Visio of the Office Package (2002, 2003 and 2007) and are supposed to prevent remote code executions, too.
The tool for removing malware is also updated. Because of security reasons Microsoft won't publish further details until Patchday.
