Microsoft Patchday March 2009: Three updates announced
As usual Microsoft will release the monthly security updates. For March's Patchday three patches have been announced.
Next Tuesday is Patchday for Microsoft. Three Security Bulletins will be released, one of them is rated critical.
Critical is a security breach in Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Server 2003 and 2008. On unpatched systems a weak spot allows any malicious code to be executed.
Two further updates are rated high: They both fix a spoofing leak. One can be found on all Windows operating systems, the other only in Windows 2000, Server 2003 and 2008.
As every month the tool for removing malware is also updated.
