The freeware Desk Drive automatically creates shortcuts to chosen drives on the Windows desktop.

To create a shortcut on the desktop is a matter of seconds. But wouldn't it be nice if a tool would automatically create links to the drives? That's what the small program Desk Drive does. It checks if a CD is in the optical drive and only then it creates a shortcut on the desktop. The tool works really well with card readers, which create multiple drives and one never knows where the storage card is in. To use the program on Windows XP or Vista, you need .Net Framework 2.0.
