This little free tool from the CPU-Z developers monitors the activity of the processing cores. But not only the current clock speeds are logged. Perfmonitor notices access to L1 and L2 cache, the usage of a Hypertransporting channel or the number of commands per clock cycle. The appearance of the displayed information can be adjusted. You can start an individual instance of the program for every single core in order to keep all of them monitored.
The current version 188.8.131.52 is able to deal with AMD's K10 generation, too. The download can be found here. As a registered user you can also choose to download the tool from our servers. Perfmonitor runs without installation.
