While Europe still has to wait for the colorful X-Blades, gamers in North America can already follow Ayumi in her adventures - even in widescreen format if they want.
Often enough PC gamers are disappointed when long expected multi platform titles or console ports comes to the computer: Due to the architecture of the development the possibilities of the PC in matters of adjustable screen resolutions are ignored and the video options are sparse. But Gaijin Entertainment, the developers of X-Blades, programmed their game to support multiple screen resolutions, including 16:9 and 16:10 ratios.
User Tanuki of the Widescreen Gaming Forum took a closer look and compared the individual display ratios. Accordingly X-Blades increases the field of vision horizontally if the game is run in widescreen format. In Tanuki's thread at WSGF you can find additional comparison shots and detailed information about the supported widescreen resolutions.
