Red Orchestra 2: Unreal Engine 3 shooter officially announced - first screenshots
World War II is the chosen setting for Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad. The shooter was officially announced and the first screenshots of the Unreal Engine 3 game have been published, too.
Red Orchestra 2 is based on the Unreal Engine 3 and lets the player experience the horror of the battle in Stalingrad during World War II. In two single player campaigns you play either on the side of the Russians or the Germans. Like in part 1 (Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45) realism and historical correctness will be important for Heroes of Stalingrad.
The multiplayer part of Red Orchestra 2 offers the modes Territory, Firefight and Countdown. During online play it is the gamers' target to become a "Hero” - a Hero has access to rare weapons. Furthermore there is a co-op mode and the option gather achievements for offline competitions.
When Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad will be release has not been announced yet. What do you think about the screenshots in our gallery? What's your opinion on the World War II setting? Use the comments to tell us what you think.
