Need for Speed: Shift with new breathtaking screenshots - Video Update
The new screenshots of Need for Speed: Shift whet the appetite even more: No matter if cockpit or exterior view, Shift looks definitely promising to us.
EA goes back to the roots with Need for Speed: Shift. Shift will be a realistic racing game and no fun racer. The Slightly Mad Studios (formerly Blimey) seems to be the appropriate developer since the studio has made GTR and GT Legends.
A new engine which EA has been working on for two years is the technical basis for the realistic driving physics and graphics which wants to be no less than the best graphics of all racing games ever. Do you think the new screenshots emphasize this ambition? Please tell us in the commentaries.

Electronic Arts has released two additional screenshots of Need for Speed Shift. The new pictures show two Nissan cars with cult character.

At Youtube two videos showing in-game material of Need for Speed Shift have been published. In one the player drives a Pagani Zonda on a race track - possibly Monza. Regardless of the video's low quality the speed feeling of the game nevertheless is transmitted quite well. Apparently there are driving assistances like a racing line or a breaking assistance. The second video shows a Porsche Cayman on a inner city track.
