Lord of the Rings games made by EA - something we won't see for quite some time.
As our colleagues of PC Games report, the Lord of the Rings license given to EA expired at the end of 2008. For Lord of the Rings: Conquest, which was released in January 2009, Tolkien Enterprises granted a two weeks reprieve to the publisher though. The tight deadline might have been a reason for the restrained ratings the game was given by the media. The Lord of the Rings license is said to have been given to Warner Bros. directly. The most likely games that might be expected will probably be related to the Hobbit movies which are scheduled for 2011 and 2012.
