PCGH Special: Christina Surer plays GTR Evolution
Atari visited the PCGH office and, in cooperation with the race driver Christina Surer, introduced GTR Evolution.
The race simulation GTR Evolution is scheduled to for release at August, 14th. To shorten the time until it is for sale finally, we were able to review a pre-release version. The game is developed by Simbin, whose last project was Race 07. The likeable race driver Christina Surer , the daughter of former Formula 1 pilot Marc Surer, got behind the wheel and answered our questions.
Christina told us, that several race drivers use video games to practice or to get to know tracks they never were driving on before. Even some Formula 1 pilots are said to use them in order to prepare themselves for the next races. This is possible because the games get more realistic. In GTR Evolution the developers went as far as including details like the graffiti of the Nurburgring Nordschleife.
For all the readers, who understand German there is a video interview with the Swiss all-rounder on our sister site. For all the others we have some pictures and screenshots in our gallery below.
