Assassin's Creed: Lineage - Making of Video released
Assassin's Creed: Linage is the title of an Assassin's Creed short movie which was produce in course of the launch of Assassin's Creed 2. It is supposed to give the player more information about the past of the game's main character. Now a Making of video has been released.
The Making of Assassin's Creed: Linage video is 15 minutes long and shows the actors who gave their looks and voice to the characters in the game and also intensively deals with the circumstances of the production resulting from the virtual locations that have been edited into the scenes on the PC afterwards. Because each take was recorded in front of green backgrounds, Assassin's Creed: Lineage required huge pre and post producing efforts and demanded a great deal of the actors. Although the movie is supposed to tell the story that takes place in the time before Assassin's Creed 2, it actually is an independent project.

Assassin's Creed: Lineage is a mixture of real film and modern CGI technology which has been developed by Hybride Technologies, the visual effects studio behind cinema blockbusters like 300 or sin City. In close cooperation with Ubisoft's team for digital content as well as Ubisoft Digital Arts and Ubisoft Montreal, the developers of Assassin's Creed 2, Hybrid Technologies the short movie and brought it to life.
