Alien Breed: Amiga classic coming to PC with Unreal Engine 3
Initially Alien Breed was supposed to be released for all major platforms this year. But up to now only the Xbox 360 version did it while PC and PS3 owners will have to wait until summer.
With alien Breed the developers at Team 17 are working to transfer one of the Amiga classics to modern times. The new version of the game is based on the Unreal Engine 3 and will be released for Xbox 360 later this year. PC and Playstation 3 gamers will have to be patient until next summer. Alien breed is going to be released in three episodes each of which is supposed to offer about 15 hours of gameplay. It has been said that on the project 30 employees have been working for 15 months with a budget of 3.5 million USD. Besides a big single player mode there will also be a co-op mode for two people.
