The Last Remnant: Demo and Benchmark released for download
A demo and a benchmark of The Last Remnant, the Unreal Engine based Action RPG from Square Enix, have been released.
The demo of The Last Remnant is ready for download. It is 1.1 GiByte big and contains the first mission of the Action RPG. As we reported only yesterday, the PC version of The Last Remnant will be released on March 20.
The Last Remnant Benchmark
In addition to the demo Square Enix also released a benchmark which is about 275 MByte big and can be downloaded via Gamershell. In our gallery you can find some screenshots at 1,280 x 800 with 16x S-FSAA with Transparency Supersampling (2x2 Supersampling plus 4x Multisampling) and 16:1 AF. On the GTX 280 Anti Aliasing is only possible by renaming the exe file of the benchmark. Direct X 10 is not supported in the benchmark although it is supposed to deliver explicit benefits in the game. The benchmark runs with Shader Model 3.0 (about 6,530 Shaders).
