A making of video of Ubisoft's strategy ame RUSE has been released. The clip delivers new information about the technology used by the developers.
Publisher Ubisoft released a making of video of the forthcoming strategy game RUSE. In the clip producer Mathieu Girard and scriptwriter Jeff Spock deal with the creation of the game and technology that is used. A special focus is put on the Motion Capturing for the animations of characters and cutscenes. RUSE is supposed to deliver a cinematic gaming experience.
The strategy game is developed by Eugen Systems and gives the player the option to fool the opponent in order to win an advantage. RUSE is scheduled for release in Q1 2010 and will be released for PC Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
In the multiplayer part of RUSE up to eight players (4 versus 4) are participating in combat on battlefields that are separated into individual sections. There are ground and naval areas, height differences and hills or canyons give a tactical advantage. With special abilities the players can spy on their opponents or cloak their own units.
