Indian Jones and the Fate of Atlantis coming to DS, PS2 and Wii
Activision puts the legendary Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis as a bonus into the box of the last Indiana Jones adventure.
Everyone who ever saw an Indy movie knows: Indian Jones isn't easy to kill. And something that applies to the person of Indiana Jones applies to the brand of Indiana Jones even more.
After the latest cinema movie a new video game called "Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings” will be released in late June. As a bonus the versions for the Nintendo DS, Sony Playstation 2 and Nintendo Wii will have a real Indian Jones classic included: Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis.
It has been in a past, not so far away, when people had just discovered the PC game. Regardless of the few colors and pixeled images, many gamers were fascinated by the stunning graphics.
Especially the Adventure genre was popular back then. Initially controlled via text input, the Adventure evolved to the Point and Click game in the 90s. Many fans still reminisce about the funny ideas like the word battles of Monkey Island or the copy protection paper disks.
If you take a look at the games from Lucas Arts (Lucas Film initially), the list reads like the "who is who” of classical adventures.
