Dominator GT: First results from the PCGH Test Lab
Only recently we received Corsair's Triple Channel Dominator Kit. Now we have the first results of the DDR3 memory.
The Dominator GT RAM modules are specified for DDR3-1866 at 1.65 volt with latencies of 7-8-7-20. In several hours of testing they now had a chance to prove what they are capable off.
Corsair's RAM was running stable in DDR3-1066 mode with latencies of 5-4-4-10 1T and only needed 1.5 volt to do so. With 8-8-8-24 latencies the Triple channel kit even reached the 1,000 MHz (DDR3-2000) - also at only 1.5 volt, the lowest voltage applicable.
Stay tuned for more information and additional results.
