G.Skill offers Triple Channel RAM kit with elaborate cooling
The new Trident memory series (DDR3 RAM with 2.000 MHz and CL 9-9-9-24) comes with a new cooling solution.
With the Trident series G.Skill introduces a new cooling solution that is supposed to convince in design and performance. According to G.Skill frequencies over two GHz are possible with the new cooler.
The new memory coolers, which have been introduced at the Cebit (see G.Skill shows DDR3-2133 RAM, DDR2-1200 modules and twelve GiByte DDR3-1800 memory), have a compact design and can be placed right next to each other so that all six memory slots (if offered by the motherboard) can be used.
With a datasheet and a heat image G.Skill explains the functional principle of the new RAM cooler. In our gallery you can also find pictures of OCZ and Corsair memory kits that use similar cooling solutions. Compare for yourself.
Although the Triple channel memory kit is said to be available already, there still aren't many retailers who offer it.
