New at the PCGH Test Lab: DDR3 memory with additional cooling by Chaintech
As much cooling surface as possible: With the DDR3-1600 modules of the Aprogee GT Blazer series Chaintech delivers additional coolers, which are simply attached to the heatspreader.

The cooler should fit to all motherboards, since it got variable fittings. After the RAM modules are installed, you disperse the heat compound on the topside of the heatspreader. Now the additional cooler is put on top and fixed with four screws and springs. If necessary you can also add an 40 mm fan.
Our sample with twice 1,024 MiByte is said to run with the low latencies of 7-7-7-18 in DDR3-1600 mode. According to a sticker on the heatspreader a voltage of 1.6 volt (DDR3 default: 1.5 volt) is enough for that. Our test will reveal, if the increased cooling surface has any influence on the overclocking capabilities.
