Folding@Home on Nvidia graphics cards: Beta software available
AMD already supports Folding@Home on the GPU for quite some time. Now Nvidia catches up. The current beta, combined with an adequate driver, is running on all G80 and newer chips.

The beta client of the Folding@Home software (Download 6.12 Beta6) and Nvidia's CUDA driver, version 174.55, are necessary. The current driver for the Geforce GTX 280 seems to work but isn't officially supported.
Our tests with a Geforce 8800 GT revealed a huge achievement potential for the CUDA solution: Although we were rewarded with only 98 points per workunit, our card reached 4,500 PPDs, without being overclocked. With an shader clock raised to 1,836 Megahertz we were able to get 5,644 pints per day.
Because the software is still in beta state, unexpected crashes and problems are possible - thus you should use the driver on important systems.
