Questioned if his company plans to publish any games for the Wii console he answered: "No, we go forward, not back" and also explained: "It makes more sense for us to invest in the next-generation tech". In fact developing for the Wii would be possible "but it makes more sense to invest going forward". This defines the positions.
Among technical limitations, Capps is bothered with buying patterns. He calls the Wii a virus that is spreading. Everyone wants to have a Wii, and is excited about it ("Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it"), just to loose interest after a few weeks. Capps himself is still waiting for a Wii game that is worth playing.
