Since October 2007, the memory producer corsair is selling power supply units, too. Now they published a video, which is supposed to stimulate the demand for the products.
The video does not reveal which brand the tested PSUs belong to.
Corsair puts six PSUs of an unknown manufacturer to the tests, whereby all of the candidates died in a more or less spectacular way after a short time at a 75 percentage workload. The reason for this demonstration is quite simple: Corsair wants to convince PC users that it is better to pay a little more for a quality PSU, than to get a cheap but insufficient and possibly dangerous device.
