German publishing company to become second largest Apple customer
The German Axel Springer AG will switch all company intern devices to Apple technology.
Apfeltalk.de reported that the transition to Apple is scheduled to be carried out over the next five years. In a Youtube video the CEO of Axel Springer AG, Mathias Döpfner, explains the decision. With the Apple systems the company will be able to deal faster with their tasks and the maintenance is cheaper than with any other computer system. Furthermore Apple is characterized as the best choice for all tasks related to design and creativity.
With about 10,000 employees, the Axel Springer AG will become the world's second largest partner of Apple - Google is on the first place - and the biggest European customer.
