Hitman: Fox is working on second movie
20th Century Fox contracts screenwriter Kyle Ward for the Hitman sequel. If Timothy Olyphant will be Agent 47 again has not been confirmed yet.
The movie website IESB.net reports that 20th Century Fox has hired screenwriter Kyle Ward for the next Hitman movie. The young author is currently the most sought-after writer in Hollywood. Ward's last screenplay was the film adaption Kane and Lynch which is in production at Lionsgate at the moment.
Box-office results of the first Hitman movie from 2007 were about 100 million dollar worldwide. The part of Agent 47 was then played by Timothy Olyphant - if he will be Hitman again has not been revealed yet. Fans would also appreciate the re-appearance of Bond girl Olga Kurylenko. In the first Hitman movie she played the witness Nika Boronina. IESB.net furthermore reports that Adrian Askarieh, Daniel Alter and Chuck Gordon will be producers for the second movie again.
According to IESB the game Hitman 5 is scheduled for end of 2010 and Agent 47 is said to be guided in a completely new direction.
