According to Fudzilla, AMD is planning the introduction of the high-end processor for the beginning of 2009.
The Phenom FX is based on a Deneb core and is produced in a 45 nanometer structure. The maximal core clock speed is said to be above 3 GHz and the L3 cache was set to 6 MiByte. The multiplier will be free to modify, just like the one of the Athlon 64 FX. It is also possible, that AMD adds a "Black Edition”, because customers seem to like the tag.
