The proud owners of the 30 Gigabyte version of Microsoft's MP3 player Zune had to do without music on New Year's Eve. The device refused cooperation for several hours because Microsoft probably did not consider that February 2008 had 29 days.
Due to the leap year the Zune devices primarily offered in the USA went on strike. Microsoft is said to have asked for patience since the problem would be solved naturally on 1st January 2009.
