Physx in Mirror's Edge: Video shows advantages of the PC version compared to consoles
Due to Physx Mirror's Edge on the PC offers, in comparison to the console version, worth seeing physics effects. A video demonstrates the differences.
It seems like the PC version of Mirror's Edge, which will be released on January 8, 2009 won't be a one-to-one console port. The unorthodox action game uses Physx for calculating physics effects that are accelerated either on the CPU or an Nvidia graphics card.
A video now shows the advantages of the Mirror's Edge PC version with GPU accelerated Physx compared to the consoles which don't have Physx. Please note that the speed of the gameplay has been reduced in order to make a demonstration of the effects easier.
