Xblue motherboards from Jetway with DDR2 and DDR3 memory slots
Jetway wants to offer best downwards compatibility while supporting the latest technology.
Jetway just unveiled to new motherboards called Xblue-77A3 and Xblue-78GA3. Both are supposed to offer maximal compatibility and have two DDR2 as well as two DDR3 memory slots. Furthermore the boards support AMD's AM2(+) and AM3 Phenoms.
The motherboards have different chipsets. The Xblue-77A3 comes with aMD's 770 chipset while the Xblue-78GA3 has the AMD 780G chipset with an integrated graphics unit. In both cases the chipsets are combined with the SB700 Southbridge - DDR2 memory with effective 1,066 MHz and DDR3 memory with effective 1,333 MHz is supported. The boards are intended for customers who want to upgrade their PC but don't want to replace the whole system.
