MSI wants to address smart spenders with its 770-C35. For a reasonable price the AM3 motherboard will offer good performance for all important applications.

If you are searching for a low priced socket AM3 motherboard you could try MSI's 770-C35. The motherboard comes with AMD's northbridge 770 and southbridge SB710. AMD processors in AM3 format are supported up to a TDP of 140 Watt. The four dual channel slots are DDR3 1600 compatible.
Due to the reasonable price there is only one PCI Express x16 slot in version 2.0 available. Additionally there are two PCI E x1 and three PCI slots. Hard drives can be connected on six SATA ports. At the back there are six USB 2.0 ports and one RJ 45 cable port. Thanks to the Ethernet chip Gigabit LAN is possible. The onboard chip offers 7.1 sound.
According to TC Magazine the motherboard shall be available soon and convince customers with its very moderate price.
