Evga X58 3X Classified is said to be delayed
Evga's X58 3X Classified is supposed to stand out of the X58 motherboard crowd, but it seems like people will have to wait a little longer.
We had the chance to take a look at the Evga X58 3X Classified during the CES. The board will offer four PCI-E x16 slots that can be accessed in the configurations 16x/16x/16x or 16x/16x/8x/8x. The individual slots can be deactivated via jumpers. The space between the slots have been set in a way that allows to equip the board with three dual-slot graphics cars, one additional PCI-Express card for physics calculations and a sound card in the PCI-E x1.1 slot.
The Evga X58 3X Classified is said to cost $400 to $450, but according to Tech Connect it will be delayed. Initially the Core i7 motherboard was scheduled for shipment later this month, but now it won't be send out until the second week of March.
