DFI shows new Blood Iron P45 Elite Motherboard
Although DFI is working on motherboards with a P55 chip the manufacturer will introduce a low-priced P45 motherboard with good overclocking qualities first.
Within the next weeks DFI will replace the P45-T2RS motherboard with the Blood Iron P45 Elite (BI) P45-T2RS Elite. Like the prior board the Blood Iron will rely on socket 775 and support CPUs up to Core 2 Duo/Quad. The FSB 1,333 MHz board has four DDR2 slots and one PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slot. Furthermore there are one IDE and six SATA interfaces with 3.0 GB/s, a 7.1 sound chip, Gigabit Ethernet and several BIOS modifications for overclocking.
Prices have not been revealed yet but mass production is already scheduled for next week.
