X58 motherboards for Intel's Core i7 CPUs are regarded to be too expensive by many users. Foxconn wants to change this with the Flaming Blade.

Unlike the Flaming Blade GTI the Flaming Blade offers additional SLI support. The GTI version doesn't have the two E-SATA ports and the RAID features of the Flaming Blade. Another difference is the gigabit LAN since the Flaming Blade offers two ports. Both motherboards support CrossfireX with two PCI-E x16 2.0 slots.
Additionally two PCI-E x4 2.0 and one PCI-E x1 2.0 ports are available. Both boards offer three memory slots for DDR3 modules, twelve USB 2.0 and six SATA ports. Foxconn's latest X58 motherboards furthermore have ferrite core inductors and besides the 6-phase PWM supply two additional phases for VTT - for increasing the overclocking capabilities.
