NF750-G55: MSI introduces SLI motherboard for socket AM3
It is a difficult task to have SLI with a current AMD CPU. MSI puts paid on this deficit and introduces the NF750-G55 which enables combining current AMD 45 nm processors with several Geforce graphics cards.
Motherboard specialist MSI has introduced the NF750-G55 - an SLI motherboard for the AM3 socket. The basis is the 1.5 year old Nvidia Nforce 750a SLI which guarantees SLI support for AMD's AM3 socket CPUs. For the first time customers have the opportunity to combine a current 45 nm AMD CPU with several Nvidia graphics cards. The Nforce 750a SLI has an onboard Geforce 8200. Both PCI-Express x16 slots respond with 2 x 8 lanes during SLI operation.
The NF750-G55 offers up to 16 GByte DDR-RAM. Gigabit-LAN and 7.1 HD audio go without saying. The integrated Geforce 8200 transfers video signals via VGA, DVI or HDMI. The motherboard offers a power button but a reset button you won't find. The product website of the NF750-G55 reveals further details. From end of August the motherboard will be available for about 100 Euro.
