Meorb: Thermaltake introduces low profile cooler
The Meorb's most important feature is the small height which is suitable for HTPCs.
Thermaltake designed the Meorb to fit into Home Theater PCs and thus the cooler has a height of only 47 millimeters. Heat is transfer from the base to the aluminum fins via two copper heatpipes. A 92 millimeter fan runs between 800 to 1,700 rpm. The Meorb is compatible to the sockets 775, AM2(+), 754 and 939.
According to Thermaltake, a special design for the fan blades lowers the noise produced by the Meorb. Therefore the noise is specified with 16 dB(A). For further details see the Meorb product page.
