Corsair: Bigger Dominator GT cooling fins
Memory specialist Corsair has introduced extended cooling fins for the DDR3 RAM modules of the Dominator GT series.
Corsair is offering additional upgrades for the DDR3 RAM modules of the Dominator GT series. The latest additions are extended cooling fins that replace the original fins already installed on the DHX heatspreaders. Following the principle of "bigger surface for better cooling” the extended fins are about twice as high as the standard fins, but they aren't longer or wider so the RAM can still be used in slots right next to each other.
The extended fins are available in Corsair's web store. The black version costs 19.99 USD while the red versions costs 24.99. Corsair grants a lifetime warranty on the products.
Some time ago Corsair had already introduced a new water block for the RAM modules of the Dominator GT series.
