Godhand: Scythe monster cooler and prototypes
Besides the already known products Scythe showed some new coolers at the Cebit.
Big CPU coolers from Scythe are rather common by now, but this prototype goes to a whole new level: A the Cebit the "GodHand” is on display. Compared to this monster even an Orochi looks small. A fan with a diameter of 25 centimeter is working on the vertical cooler. Actually the Godhand is supposed to hit the markets in a few months as a small batch series.
The enhanced Kama Cross which is called Grand Cross will come a little earlier. It will have the uncommon fin design again although this time the cooler will bear a 140 millimeter fan.
The prototype of the Mugen 2 on the other hand will never hit the markets. During the development of the cooler Scythe experimented with the Direct Touch Technology and up to ten heatpipes before the final design had been decided on.
