Left 4 Dead 2 maxed out - Source Engine on highest quality
What is the maximal visual quality offered by Left 4 Dead 2, the latest game based on Valves' Source Engine? Screenshot specialist Jay.Gee shows what can be squeezed out of the aged structure.
Left 4 Dead 2 has been released, only one year after the first part. Nevertheless the game seems to be popular among journalists and fans. At Metacritics, a review collection site, it reached 90 percent on average and the user ratings are quite good, too - Nine out of ten possible points. After the game has now finally been published, there now are the first screenshots that make the aged engine shine again. In our preview gallery you can find several pictures from screenshots artist Jay.Gee who proved several times to have a talent for impressive images. The original shots were taken at 1680 x 1050 with 8x MSAA and 16:1 AF.
