Seagate wants to offer 2 TByte HDDs in this quarter
Within this quarter Seagate wants to introduce hard drives with a 2 TByte capacity.
It seems like Seagate also wants to introduce hard drives with an overall capacity of 2 Terabyte. The company is said to introduce such devices within this quarter already.
At first the HDDs will be released for the Enterprise market only - bearing an ES tag. The hard drives are said to be offered in 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch with either SATA or SAS interfaces. Prices have not been issued, says ExtremTech.
