Internet Explorer: Microsoft Patch released for download
Microsoft released a patch for the Internet Explorer that fixes a vulnerability of the web browser.
The vulnerability has been subject matter for several discussions and critical news coverage; even governmental departments advised against the use of the Internet Explorer. Now Microsoft reacted with an "out-of-band security update” that is supposed to solve the problem. According to the security bulletin almost every operating system and all versions of the Internet Explorer since IE5 are affected.
