Computex: Asus Geforce GTX 285 Matrix sighted
Asus expands its Matrix graphics cards series with the Geforce GTX 285, which has a custom design and includes iTracker 2.
At the Computex in Taipei Asus introduces the latest Matrix graphics cards from its ROG series (Republic for Gamers). The Geforce GTX 285 has a custom design and the package includes iTracker 2. Instead of the two 6 pin connections the Asus Matrix version only needs one 8 pin connection. The cooler is said to support PWM and heat dissipation of the heatpipes is supposedly up to 12 percent better than the reference.
With iTracker 2 the card can be monitored, overclocked and the BIOS can be updated. Even the memory timings are adjustable. The Asus Geforce GTX 285 Matrix will probably be available within the next four weeks.
