New at the PCGH Test Lab: Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 X2
Some weeks ago we reviewed AMD's new flagship Radeon HD 4870 X2. Just now the first retail sample from Sapphire reached our office.
A final silicon at last: The Radeon HD 4870 X2 is ready. When asked, AMD told us that they made minor adjustments to the ASIC respectively the power consumption during the past weeks. A new driver is the cherry on the cake. Of course we will check if there are differences with the micro stuttering or the power consumption.
