AMD supposed to lower prices for RV710 graphics cards
It seems like AMD is going to cut prices on graphics cards like the HD 4350 of HD 4550 in order to be more competitive in the entry level market.
AMD is said to lower the prices for entry level graphics cards like the RV710 based Radeon HD 4350 and HD 4550. The company wants to conquer a bigger market share from main competitor Nvidia, whose Geforce 9500 GT seems to sell quite well although the AMD devices are often faster.
Cutting the price for the RV710 could help AMD to sell more units in the lower performance region. According to Fudzilla there also might be some new devices with bigger amount of memory.
